Her article highlights of the best of winter river cruise holidays setting sail this year, with Emerald Cruises being among the best for their popular Christmas market river cruise packages.
‘The decade’s hot ticket’
Archer admits in the Telegraph that the ‘demand for ocean cruises continues to increase’ but ‘river cruising has become the decade’s hot ticket.’ With Emerald Cruises having only launched earlier this year as the first new river cruise line to take to Europe’s waters in six years, we are already making a name for ourselves and seeing river cruises booked up months in advance.
Archer is already a fan of the innovative cruise line that is being dubbed ‘the next generation of river cruising’, having said “I love the idea of a pool that becomes a cinema and a dining room that has multiple service stations. Even more exciting, I reckon there are more great innovations to come.” To read other such reviews of the Emerald Cruises experience see the extensive reviews section.
In her article, Archer praises Emerald Cruises for capturing the essence of European winter, which is ‘all about cruises that visit the bustling and atmospheric Christmas markets - good not only for seeking out unusual presents but also for sampling local seasonal food and wine (or more often, gluhwein).’
With just a few remaining cabins on Emerald Cruises’ Christmas Danube river cruise in December of this year, it is recommended that hopeful guests call to reserve their place as soon as possible. We also offer an 8-day Rhine Discovery Christmas Cruise and 15-day Christmas Markets cruise, so there are plenty of ways to experience a European Christmas with us this year!
